SPACE Show launches at Sciencentre

14 July - 11 December 2009

A new show has launched in the Sciencentre Show Zone.

SPACE blasts off on 14 July with a mind-bending exploration of the body, space and the outer limits.

Created for the International Year of Astronomy, SPACE is an exciting and engaging science theatre experience that explores concepts behind travelling and living in space.

Ever wondered why we don't just float away into space? Or what would happen if you found yourself in space? Visitors will find out the answers to theses questions and more.

School Students visiting the Sciencentre will have the opportunity to explore scientific concepts including gravity and Newton's Third Law of Motion, engage with materials both real and virtual, explore natural phenomena and make links between their observations and the everyday world.

SPACE will run throughout the school semester until 11 December 2009.

Please note: Show topics and times may vary outside of school hours. Please check details on the day of your visit.
