Almost 100 interactive exhibits have been divided into three galleries; Body Zone, Action Stations and Earth Space. Read the hints below on making the most of your Sciencentre visit.
Body Zone

Science is everywhere - at home, school, work and play. Discover what makes everyday things tick.
Earth Space
Light, sound, action! Earth is the original ‘theatre’, forever shifting land, air and water and making a real show of itself. Enter Earth Space and play your part.
Show Zone
Current show: SPACE
Show Zone is a 70 seat theatre where live science theatre occurs.

Tips for a great visit
- Gallery exhibits are organised into themes.
- Each exhibit has a text panel colour-coded for its theme. Text panels include instructions and the science behind what’s going on. Some panels include a question to think about or an everyday example.
- Scattered throughout the Galleries are intriguing Did you know? panels.
- Heroes panels highlight science careers and achievements of Queenslanders.

- Helping them to read text panels
- Asking their ideas about what will happen
- Allowing them to explain their ideas about what is going on
- Encouraging them to share their ideas with each other and work as a team
