What's your Number?
The ten metre dash

Body works

Biking with Boney Hop on our bike and ride tandem with our skeleton. Look at some joints, yours and his - or is it hers? Explore the special joints we've made just for you!

Hundreds of bones We have a 'skeleton in our closet', as well as an emu egg and a table leg. They'll help you think about the size, shape and job of each of your bones.

Body bits Have you ever puzzled over what's inside you, what the bits do and how they all fit together? Play with our human jigsaw and find out.

Brain at work Check out your brain. Find out which part allows you to see, hear, speak, move or remember.

Beat your heart Take the challenge and 'race your heart'. Which will be the winner, your heart or your hand?

Heart throb Place your hands on our hands, and listen to the beat – that's your heart you're hearing!

What's your number? Measure your height and weight, and crunch these into the computer to reveal your special number. Find out what it means.

Family features Work out where the blue and white discs go with a friend. Match them to your features to find out just how similar, yet different you are.

One of a kind Take a good look at yourself. Try the tongue trick. Touch the screen. Has anyone else recorded exactly the same features as you? (symbol) Check your vital statistics!

Body Challenge

Ten metre dash Can you beat Heath? Check out your time. Remember to warm-up and do some stretches first.

Bend and stretch Come into our 'shoes off, sit down, legs out and stretch space'. How far will your fingers reach? Feels good, and it's fun too!

Walk the line All you have to do is walk the line - but can you? It's not as easy as it looks (be brave, or you will fall)!

Hold and squeeze Test out your hand and arm strength. Try it on the left, try it on the right. Is your might with your right? Are you strong?

Reaction time How good are your reflexes? Find out when the lights start flashing. Does practice make perfect?

Bullseye! High energy zone! You'll do lots of throwing here. How fast, and how accurate, are you?

Sense ability

Scented memories How good is your smell memory? Put your nose near some nice - and not so nice - smelly things. Which ones do you like? Which ones can you remember?

Bitter or sweet Find out if there's a scientific reason why you dislike some tastes that other people like.

Hairs to hear with See what happens to the hairs inside your ears when they hear soft or loud, or high or low, sounds.

Thread the needle It's a giant one, so the job looks easy. Is it? Try it with one eye, and then with two. Notice the difference.

Feel the difference What's inside the boxes? Count to three, take a deep breath and plunge your hand into each box (you'll discover some interesting sensations)!

Read with your fingers Hungry? Read the cans with your fingers and choose your dinner…..you'd better be right, because one of them contains something you definitely don't want to eat!

Seeing in colour Put your colour detectors to the test, not by trying to see the colour, but by trying to see the numbers. Sounds crazy? Try it.

Mind benders

Room for confusion Welcome to a most extraordinary ordinary room. Strange things happen to those who go inside. Take a closer look.

Wonky walk Do the walk. Is it you, or the tunnel, that gets wonky? You be the judge. Warning: Do not enter just after a meal!

Head on a platter Put your head on our fruit platter. How do you look? We promise you'll feel ok and leave with the right head. Great photo opportunity!

Happy or sad? If you think it's easy to tell if someone is happy or sad, then look at these two faces.

What you see Try these optical illusions. They are designed to trick you, so some of what you see is really not there at all………

A child's world Have you forgotten what it's like to be little? Take a seat and find out.

River crossing Can you get the fox, the corn and the chicken across the river? Be careful, nothing must get eaten along the way!

Four in a row If you like playing noughts and crosses then this is the 3D game for you. The rules are the same, but the game is more of a challenge.

Build a die So you know there are six numbers on a die, in dice-play, but try making a die from our series of blocks. This will really test your 3D skills.

Pack the parcels How good are you at packing things into small spaces? Can you fit all the parcels exactly into our box so nothing sticks out?
