    11 January 2012 - Queensland Museum South Bank

    Queensland Museum is putting a call out for garments designed by influential Brisbane fashion icon Gwen Gillam.

    Curator Michael Marendy said as well as her garments, typical of the classic and currently popular ‘Mad Men-esque’ styles, the Museum was keen to hear stories about this fashion icon and successful business woman as part of a new research project and possible retrospective exhibition.

  • Grace - the Exhibition

    06 September 2011 - Museum of Tropical Qld

    A stunning photographic exhibition exploring the unique relationship between art and sport will be on display at the Museum of Tropical Queensland from 13 September to 10 November 2011.

    Grace – the Exhibition was developed by North Queensland’s contemporary dance company Dancenorth and the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys, and featured side by side images of rugby league action shots imitated by dancers.
