Have you ever wanted to dig for dinosaurs? Discover a dinosaur? Become a dinosaur?
Get ready to roar when you visit us in January for our new holiday program I Dig Dinos.
$8 for children 3 - 15 years. Adults and children under 3 years are free. 9.30 - 4pm daily. Tickets available on level 2 from 5 January 2010.

Body and mind: Charles Darwin, natural selection and modern human evolution
24 November 2009, Level 2 Theatre

Celebrating the 150th anniversary of On the Origin of Species, this talk presented by Professor Richard Roberts from the University of Wollongong will bring you up to date on exciting developments in the 'hot' topic of human evolution. More information about the talk.

Wildlife Workshops

Wildlife Workshops 2009
These intensive workshops are presented by Museum experts and are designed to give participants a deeper understanding and appreciation of our spectacular wildlife. A resource pack covering the content of the workshop and related material is provided.

Topics for 2009 explore small mammals, spiders and snakes of the Great South-east and will run from September to November 2009. All workshops are held at Queensland Museum South Bank.

Bookings are now open
Adults $50, Concession or additional family member $45.
