Whale Mall![]() Whale Mall Whales are the largest of the marine mammals. Like dolphins, porpoises and the sirenians (dugong and Manatee), whales are warm-blooded, air-breathing and nurse their young on milk. Whales are divided into two groups: baleen whales — such as the Humpbacks which filter shrimp-like krill through curtains of mineralized hair (baleen) in their mouths; and toothed whales — such as the Killer Whale which has single-rooted, undifferentiated teeth and which eats large mammals, fish and birds. Visit our Whale mall to see life-size models of male, female and juvenile Humpback whales.
