About the exhibition

Before dinosaurs ruled the earth more than 300 million years ago, plants and tiny animals lived and died and eventually became the fossils that formed the coal, oil and gas we use today. This natural link between our prehistoric past and our energy use today becomes evident as you explore the space.

This exhibition provides students with an opportunity to focus on a positive and sustainable future, whilst exploring energy, climate change and prehistoric plants and animals, including our much loved life-sized dinosaurs.

ENERGEX Playasaurus Place is an exhibition space as well as a great space to rest and have refreshments. After refuelling, burn off some energy playing, learning, dancing and singing.

Read through the web pages about the exhibition to gain an understanding of what students will discover during a visit.
