Inquiry Centre

At the Inquiry Centre you can ask our helpful, knowledgable staff any Queensland Museum related question.

Inquiry Centre displays present a little of everything from Queensland Museum's collections: corals, crayfish, shells, spiders, insects, reptiles, birds, mammals, ceramics, glassware, Aboriginal and Torres Strait artefacts, classical antiquities, firearms and edged weapons.

The items in displays are arranged systematically: that is, all the birds are together and all the ducks next to other ducks. This allows visitors to compare one with another as an aid to identification. Correct identification is the key to find other information.

More information about the Inquiry Centre is available at the Inquiry Centre site.
