Areas of Biodiversity research
Our research focus is ‘uniquely Queensland’, reflecting our unique ecosystems and the animals that form them. The Museum’s research expertise is recognised internally for several of these areas of research.
Research projects are increasingly undertaken in collaboration with external partners. These partnerships provide greater opportunities and sources of funding that generate a more complete knowledge of the region's biodiversity.
