Lamarcks Porcelain Crab

Petrolisthes lamarckii

Features

Single small spine on edge of carapace behind eye; claws lack any hair, but are marked with short, striated lines; arm of claw has three broad teeth on front edge. To 17 mm long. Several similar species.

Notes

Under rocks and rubble on reefs; intertidal and shallow subtidal zones. Eastern Australia; also Indo-West Pacific.
