Queensland is home to six of the world’s seven marine turtle species, 20 of the world’s 54 sea snake species and the saltwater crocodile.

teacher notes and student worksheets. Suitable for years 5 - 7.
Students visit the Marine Reptiles exhibition and work through the Saving Turtles (248 KB) student worksheets to find out the greatest threats to turtles. Back in the classroom, students present recommendations to help establish a sustainable turtle population. Suitable for years 4 - 7.
