Join Dr Anita Herle from the University of Cambridge as she talks about Torres Strait art and kastom, through exploring the groundbreaking research and collections of the pioneering anthropologist A.C. Haddon and the 1898 Cambridge Anthropological Expedition to the Torres Strait.

 

About the speaker

Dr Anita Herle is Senior Curator at the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, University of Cambridge. Since 1998 she has published numerous articles and edited books on Torres Strait art and kastom, and the early history of anthropology at Cambridge.
